Auto Extrication - Stabilization Practice

Members practice stabilization methods using Rescue-42 struts and wooden cribbing for initial and final stabilization of inverted vehicals. Teams were split into "Rescue" and "Medical".

Members practiced stabilization methods using Rescue-42 Struts and manual wood blocking to isolate inverted vehicles involved in MVI's.  As responder and patient safety is of utmost importance, all work is coordinated between Medical, and Rescue teams all reporting to an IC, or Incident Commander. 

Rescue members perform an initial assessment by means of a 360 degree survey, and determine the best methods of patient extrication based on the layout of the incident, access to the patient, and the patient condition.
